Planetarium Program Specialist, Part-time
The Planetarium Program Specialist will present astronomy programs in our state of the art planetarium using Digistar 7 software and a traditional optical-mechanical starball. They will educate people of all ages especially preschool through school age including public shows, field trips, scout programs, summer camps and family programs. The Specialist will also teach physical science field trips for grades 1-4 in a traditional classroom setting.
Preschool Specialist, Part-time
The Preschool Specialist will be responsible for teaching science and nature-based programs for children ages 0 to 6 including session classes, adult and child programs, summer camps, preschool field trips, preschool planetarium shows and some seasonal family programs.
