Community Members, Visitors, Volunteers, Donors, and Friends:
Summer is giving us beautiful weather to learn and play outdoors, and I hope you and your family are enjoying this time and staying well.
To continue serving children and families in our community, we are pleased to announce that free general admission will resume on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Registration is required at www.lensc.org. Scheduling your visit helps to ensure capacity and distancing protocols and allows time for us to clean the facility. Providing you with a quality family experience at the Center is possible because of the support and involvement of thousands of people and organizations.
Our employees are following protocols recommended by the Ohio Department of Health and Cuyahoga County Board of Health and we ask the same of you upon arrival. Facial coverings are required for visitors age 7 and older. You are strongly encouraged to visit only when you are feeling well. Kindly note the travel advisory posted at the Ohio Department of Health website.
Beginning today, members of Lake Erie Nature & Science Center can enjoy early access to registration for general admission visits by signing into their user accounts.
- Member registration: Ongoing
- Open registration for non-members: Thursday, August 27 at 9 a.m.
General admission, at no charge, allows you and your family to enjoy live animal exhibits indoors and outdoors, and displays about natural history and space science. Serving children and families for 75 years, Lake Erie Nature & Science Center educates and inspires all of us to understand, appreciate and take responsibility for our natural world.
The mission of Lake Erie Nature & Science Center to connect children and families with nature is more important than ever, and we will continue to serve you and your family in new ways. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations, grants, and program fees. Donations may be made online.
We look forward to seeing you at the Center soon!
Sincerely,
Catherine Timko
